Sentiments

How sentimental are you going to be?  There are certain things of Camden's that I saved, like first outfit, first birthday outfit. But with Dasha I was curious what you have saved.  I have her Family Day outfit, but not sure what else keep.  I am purging, trying to declutter our house!  Your input would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Hi,
I'd save any clothes she had before she joined your family, first outfit and first b-day outfit she had with your family, and maybe first holiday outfit(s) or a couple of things either you or she really seemed to like, or anything that was a special handmade gift, knit sweater that so of thing. Saving a few extra pieces now won't hurt unless it's a space issue and you can always get rid of them down the road. Making something with them is a nice idea.

  4. Zachary asked "who is that" while I was reading your blog. I told him, "that's Dasha and Camden." He then asked "can I meet them?" ;)

I'm horrible with keeping sentimental items, but I take TONS of photos to make up for it. I've been moving a cardboard box for the past 10 years with all of my baby/childhood items and I have NO IDEA what to do with all of that stuff! I do keep TONS of artwork as well and hope to take pictures and make a photo book or frame some of the favorites over time. Zachary drew a picture a few months ago with 5 stick people and one had a great big bow. I said who are all these people. He said, that's my sister! That was a keeper!

  5. I have a few outfits that he wore in Russia that I'm going to make into a blanket. I also have the first article of clothing that I purchased for him, and it won't be cut up.

    I'm a purger. I take a lot of pictures.
