This post is all about me...

We were a fun family of 3 who were looking to add to add a daughter to our family. We found her in Russia! Camden and Dasha are happy toddlers, Randy is a firefighter/paramedic and an emergency room nurse, and Denise is a busy stay-at-home mom!

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI'd save any clothes she had before she joined your family, first outfit and first b-day outfit she had with your family, and maybe first holiday outfit(s) or a couple of things either you or she really seemed to like, or anything that was a special handmade gift, knit sweater that so of thing. Saving a few extra pieces now won't hurt unless it's a space issue and you can always get rid of them down the road. Making something with them is a nice idea.

Not sure you want my answer! : ) I'm a saver. . .first pj's, first slippers, first special toy. . .Sorry. I'm not good help when you're trying to purge!
ReplyDeleteZachary asked "who is that" while I was reading your blog. I told him, "that's Dasha and Camden." He then asked "can I meet them?" ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm horrible with keeping sentimental items, but I take TONS of photos to make up for it. I've been moving a cardboard box for the past 10 years with all of my baby/childhood items and I have NO IDEA what to do with all of that stuff! I do keep TONS of artwork as well and hope to take pictures and make a photo book or frame some of the favorites over time. Zachary drew a picture a few months ago with 5 stick people and one had a great big bow. I said who are all these people. He said, that's my sister! That was a keeper!
I have a few outfits that he wore in Russia that I'm going to make into a blanket. I also have the first article of clothing that I purchased for him, and it won't be cut up.
ReplyDeleteI'm a purger. I take a lot of pictures.
